Players can choose between Community Soccer and Skill Centre based on the development experience they're looking for.

Continue building technical skills, confidence and game understanding in a fun, positive community environment.

Best for: Players looking for a quality soccer experience with a community-focused schedule.

Skill Centre

More Training • More Challenge • More Opportunity

An enhanced development environment for motivated players who love the game and want more opportunities to improve. Skill Centre provides additional training, small-sided games and festival opportunities designed to accelerate player development.

Best for: Players who are highly engaged, motivated to improve and looking for additional challenge.

Interested in higher levels of play? Skill Centre provides a stronger developmental environment for players who may want to pursue future performance opportunities.


U10–U11

This should feel like the next step up from U7–U9, with the difference between Community and Skill Centre becoming clearer.

As players grow, they continue developing their technical ability, decision-making and understanding of the game. Players can choose between Community Soccer and Skill Centre.

Players continue building their skills and game understanding in a positive community environment with an emphasis on development, teamwork and enjoying the game.

Best for: Players looking to continue developing and competing in a community-focused soccer environment.

Skill Centre

An enhanced development environment for motivated players ready for additional training and challenge. Players receive more opportunities to develop through purposeful training, small-sided games and festival experiences.

Best for: Players who love the game, are motivated to improve and want to challenge themselves in a more demanding development environment.

Looking ahead: Skill Centre helps prepare motivated players for the transition into higher levels of training and competition beginning at U12.


U12+

Beginning at U12, players transition into team-based competition while continuing their development with Yarmouth Clippers FC.

Community  A / B

Develop • Compete • Enjoy

Players continue developing their technical ability, game understanding and teamwork while competing in a community environment.

Best for: Players looking to continue developing and competing with a local/community-focused schedule.

Performance AA

Train • Challenge • Compete

AA provides a higher level of training and competition for players ready for increased challenge and commitment. Teams compete provincially, providing players with opportunities to test themselves against stronger competition from across Nova Scotia.

Best for: Motivated players who are ready for a more demanding training and competition environment and want to pursue higher levels of play.

Looking ahead: Players continue through U13 → U15 → U18, with opportunities to progress as their ability, commitment and goals develop.
